NADI is introduced as Xentinel Watchtower
2026-09-22
The situational-awareness platform we have been building as NADI is introduced under the Xentinel brand as Xentinel Watchtower. The platform does not change — the name it carries now says which part of the family it is.

What is changing
The platform is introduced publicly as Xentinel Watchtower, the monitoring product inside the Xentinel family alongside Xentinel Vision and Early Warning. NADI remains the name of the codebase and of the deployments that already exist; the product name you will see on this site is Xentinel Watchtower.
Nothing else about the platform changes. The same map, the same layer catalogue, the same entity graph, the same alerting and situation-report generation, on the same infrastructure — this is a naming decision, not a re-release.
- Product name — Xentinel Watchtower, in the Xentinel family.
- Codebase — still NADI, unchanged, with the same repositories and the same interfaces.
- Existing work — briefings, evaluations and deployments continue under the new name.
- This site — the platform page and its item pages carry the new name from today.

Why the name
The product line now holds several products that share one approach: a single operational picture, built on infrastructure the operator controls, with locally hosted models. A shared brand makes the family legible, and a name that describes the job makes each product clear on its own.
Watchtower describes the role precisely. It is sustained watching over one country's picture — layers, rules and reports that keep an operation current rather than an analysis that is finished once and filed away.

What stays the same
Existing deployments do not migrate. Xentinel Watchtower is the same software, so the data model, the layer catalogue, the integrations and the interfaces are unchanged; only the product name and its presentation move.
That applies to the operational behaviour as much as to the labels. Schedules, thresholds, graph state and stored reports carry over untouched, because nothing underneath them has been replaced.
- The platform — the same map, layer catalogue and ingestion pipelines.
- The graph — POOLE entity resolution and cross-source deduplication, unchanged.
- The analysis layer — alert rules, anomaly detection and automated situation reports, unchanged.
- The deployment model — your infrastructure, locally hosted inference, no operational data leaving your network.
- The team — the same people building and supporting it.

Where it sits in the family
Xentinel Watchtower is the monitoring platform: hazards, economic indicators, incidents and the connections between them on one map. Xentinel Vision covers cameras and inspection work, and Early Warning applies the same alerting and anomaly detection to the warning process itself.
Naming them as one family is the point of the change. Someone who needs the map now knows which product that is, and someone who needs cameras or an alerting engine knows where those live without being told the history first.
NADI is what you have seen; Xentinel Watchtower is the name it moves forward under.

What comes next
Work on the platform continues under the new name. Layers, pipelines and the analysis surfaces around them are extended on the same cadence as before, and the item pages on this site will carry the changes as they ship.
The first of those pages are already published, covering the entity graph, alert rules and situation report automation in detail, so the platform's capabilities can be read one mechanism at a time rather than from a single description. Nothing in the naming change alters what those pages describe.
- Platform page — the full description of Xentinel Watchtower, capability by capability.
- Feature pages — the entity graph, alert rules and situation reports, each documented in detail.
- Monitoring pages — the hazard and maritime layers written up for the operations they support.
- Briefings — the same team, the same platform, demonstrated on your area and your data.

How to follow it
If you have been evaluating NADI, nothing about that process resets. The briefing you receive is the same platform and the same team, and the questions worth asking about it have not changed either.
For anything written down in your own documentation, the mapping is short: NADI and Xentinel Watchtower refer to the same platform, and both names appear in this site's material only where the history makes them useful. Where a document still says NADI, it is describing this platform.
